Frequently Asked Questions
Aircon Rescue provides onsite measurement and installation services in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster, and North Surrey only.
We do not offer shipping. All of our custom acrylic AC panels are measured, manufactured, and installed locally to ensure a proper fit and professional installation.
No. While many sliding patio doors are compatible with our acrylic AC panel system, not all sliding door configurations will work.
Our sliding door panels are designed to attach securely to the inside door frame on three sides. For this reason, the sliding door must operate on the inside track and provide a suitable frame surface for the panel to seal against.
Some sliding doors operate on the outside track or have frame designs that create large gaps between the panel and the door frame. In these situations, we cannot achieve a secure seal, and the installation may not perform properly.
Because sliding door designs vary significantly, we require photos during the estimate process to confirm compatibility before proceeding. If a door cannot be securely sealed and supported, we will not recommend installation.
We allow customers to book their own appointment time which are dependent on their city. We typically return within 2-4 business days for both the measurement and installation appointment.
Absolutely not. The panels attach using a specially designed hook and loop (Velcro) tape, which ensures a secure fit to the window frame without the need for screws, drilling, or any permanent alterations.
If you measure your window incorrectly, don’t worry! We use the measurements provided to get a quote estimate. However, we do not charge you until our technicians have come to remeasure your window to ensure you’re paying the correct price.
Our panels are designed to be removable, making them convenient during the winter or whenever you desire. However, we advise against frequent removal as the wear and tear on the Velcro may increase with each removal.
