This guide will walk you through what to expect at both your measurement and installation appointments, and how to prepare for each to ensure a smooth experience.
Your Measurement Appointment
Booking Your Measurement
When booking your measurement appointment, we’ll typically send you a scheduling link so you can choose the time that works best for you:
Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM
Afternoon: 12:15 PM – 4:00 PM
Appointments are available Monday through Saturday. On the day of your appointment, your technician will text you approximately 30 minutes before arriving.
How to Prepare
To ensure a smooth and accurate process, please have your portable AC onsite and accessible during the visit. This allows us to:
Confirm compatibility with our AC window panels
Provide a live demonstration of how the product works
Take accurate measurements for your custom-sized panel
If you are using a Danby or Midea dual-hose portable AC, we will require the original hose adapter that came with your unit. If you no longer have it, a replacement adapter can be purchased for $55. Please note that there is an additional $18 charge for installing the adapter into our panels due to the extra shop time required for mounting.

Reviewing Your Quote
After taking measurements, the technician will go over your quote based on the confirmed actual size of your panel. While we do our best to provide a close estimate when reviewing your initial photos, the final price is based on real measurements. In most cases, the estimate and final price are very close.
If you approve the quote, the technician will promptly email you the invoice. Payment can be made securely by credit card through the email.
Preparing for Your Installation Appointment
Once payment has been completed, you’ll receive an email with a booking link to select your installation time from the same options as above:

Important: Window Frame Cleaning
Before we arrive, please ensure your window frame is clean and free of residue, adhesive, or tape. We cannot install panels over existing adhesive, as applying our Velcro on top will cause it to fail.

If needed, the technician can provide a free plastic scraper for you to use to remove the adhesive before installation.
What to Expect During Installation
Time Required: Installation takes about 15 minutes per panel.
Product Fit Check: The technician will carefully fit the panel into your window, ensuring it seals properly and is securely installed.
Function Test: We’ll confirm that your portable AC connects properly to the panel and that there’s a good seal for efficient operation.
Usage Demonstration: The technician will review how to attach and detach your AC hose, maintain the panel, and store it when not in use.
How to Prepare
To make the installation as quick and efficient as possible:
Ensure the area around the window is clear for easy access.
Have your portable AC in place so we can confirm the fit and function immediately.
Keep pets secured for safety and to prevent them from escaping while the door is open.
