Aircon Rescue began in 2021 during British Columbia’s record-breaking heat dome, when temperatures soared above 40°C across Metro Vancouver. As many residents struggled to keep their homes cool, it became clear that the window kits included with most portable air conditioners simply didn’t work well with modern window styles.

When a friend asked for help improving the connection between a portable AC hose and a casement window, the solution became obvious. Using high-quality acrylic and careful measurements, we built a custom window panel that sealed the exhaust hose properly while keeping the installation clean and secure.

The result worked perfectly — and quickly revealed a problem many homeowners and renters were facing. What began as a simple solution for one window soon grew into Aircon Rescue, helping thousands of Metro Vancouver customers cool their homes safely and efficiently.
